What We Offer

Dyslexia Evaluations

Our dyslexia evaluations are relaxed, supportive, and non-stressful. We want every student and adult to feel comfortable and at ease throughout the evaluation process.
 

Evaluations are available for both students and adults and typically take approximately 1½ to 2 hours to complete.
 

Please note that a dyslexia evaluation is different from a medical or clinical diagnosis of dyslexia. Our assessment is designed to identify characteristics and patterns commonly associated with dyslexia while providing helpful information about an individual’s learning needs.
 

Following the evaluation, we provide a written letter summarizing the assessment results. This letter can be shared with a school, college, employer, or other appropriate setting when documentation of dyslexia-related needs or accommodations is needed.
 

Our goal is to make the evaluation process comfortable, informative, and encouraging, while helping you better understand how dyslexia may be affecting learning or everyday life.

Student Dyslexia program

Our dyslexia programs are always completed one-on-one with Allison and are completely tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. Because dyslexia exists on a spectrum, no two students will have exactly the same experience or need the same type of support.
 

Our traditional reading program may address reading, reading comprehension, spelling, handwriting, and focus, depending on what each student needs. Rather than simply focusing on what is difficult, we teach students practical tools and strategies they can use to overcome the challenges associated with dyslexia.
 

Our sessions are hands-on, engaging, and incorporate movement to keep students actively involved in their learning. Many students with dyslexia learn best through visual and hands-on experiences, so we focus on teaching in ways that work with their strengths—not against them.

Student Dyscalculia Program

Our math program goes all the way back to the beginning, helping students build a strong foundation before moving on to more advanced math concepts. We work step-by-step through the skills a student may have missed or never fully understood.
 

Math is taught visually and hands-on, with an emphasis on understanding the “why” behind math concepts—not simply memorizing formulas and procedures. When students understand why something works, they are better able to apply that knowledge to new and more challenging problems.
 

If your student feels lost in math or struggles with higher-level math because basic concepts were missed along the way, this program may be exactly what they need. We meet students where they are and build from there, helping them develop the understanding and confidence they need to move forward.

Adult Dyslexia Program

We offer one-on-one reading and math dyslexia programs for adults. Dyslexia does not simply go away with time, and many adults have spent years struggling because they were never properly supported or taught how to work with their dyslexia.
 

If dyslexia has made reading, writing, math, work, or everyday tasks more difficult, it is never too late to get help. Our adult programs are tailored to your individual needs and goals, helping you build practical skills, learn strategies that work for you, and gain confidence in areas that may have been challenging for years.
 

You may not have received the support you needed when you were younger—but that doesn't mean you have to keep struggling. It's never too late to learn.
